Very reasonable price compared to other hotels.

This hotel offers great value for money with reasonable prices. The attention to detail is evident in the beautiful location on the lovely Brienzersee lake. The staff provide excellent service, making guests feel like family. The rooms with large balconies provide stunning views of the mountains.

All the amenities and services at this hotel were satisfactory.

The breakfast was nice - lovely spot. Most of the staff was very helpful. We liked the location of the hotel and the possibility of using the bikes.

We were disappointed that the three person room we had did not look like the one on the internet picture. We had a cot which was not comfortable. We had hoped to have the room that had a living area with a couch in it that converted to a bed. This felt like false advertising.

Decor was beautiful, breakfasts excellent and situation perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. We just loved the old-worldly comforts and atmosphere.

We loved our stay but would probably not be able to afford it again, which is a pity. For the price supper should have been included.

This hotel is a gem hidden in a picturesque Swiss town. With its stunning location near a gorgeous church on the lovely Brienzersee lake, it offers a truly serene and tranquil setting. The rooms, with their large balconies overlooking the majestic mountains, are cozy and comfortable. We loved waking up to the breathtaking views every morning. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast spread is a true delight, with an assortment of cheeses from different villages, providing a taste of authentic Swiss cuisine.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory, exceeding our expectations.

Location is excellent. Just across the road from Lac Brienz. Our children always requested to have a picnic dinner by the lake every night. The view is just incredible. The Alps completely surrounds the lake. Our rooms were lovely. We had the attic room with an incredible view of the lake and the church tower next door. Parking was great and safe. The staff were excellent. The rooms are very clean.

The restaurant is not great. We had a beef patty and salad for dinner on their National Day. It tasted awful, and the salad was completely submerged in awful dressing, just like the one from a bottle. And this was supposed to be a special night for them. It was expensive and none of us finished our salad. So eat elsewhere, better still, have a picnic by the lake, so much memorable, and much cheaper.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was absolutely stunning, right by the gorgeous Brienzersee lake and a charming church. The view from my room's balcony, overlooking the beautiful mountains, was simply breathtaking. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, even arranging transport to the train station for my small family. Lastly, the breakfast was a delightful experience, with an assortment of delicious cheeses from different villages.

All aspects of this hotel were above average, nothing was lacking.

- The building is old and room/equipment is small. - The location is far from center of the Brienz city. - There are 2 buildings and the one building is not lake-view at all. - The inside of builing smells of restaulant, a little bit oily.

Misunderstood the system of payment. Communication a little bit difficult.

The breakfast was great and they had free bikes to rent which was really helpful for exploring the area. the room had a nice balcony with a view of the mountains.

The room was quite outdated and the bed was uncomfortable. the noise from the street also made it difficult to sleep at night.

The location is fabulous, the hotel has views to the lake, you can have breakfast on the terrace at the lake, the staff is very friendly and flexible (they changed our room and also were kind to serve breakfast on the terrace when in fact breakfast was already over).

We had a shared bathroom, but if this does not bother you, the hotel has a good value for money.

Rooms are clean but the carpet is not. Staffs do not nicely communicate. Expensive for the kind of services delivered and the given grade.
